This year one of our Harbor 20s was a 1st in the All Island Regatta, beating much bigger boats. In the South Carolina Yacht Club’s annual “Ocean Challenge Regatta” Harbor 20s placed 1st, 2 nd, and 3rd and won the Mount Gay Rum Cup.

The Harbor 20 is the boat to have for sailboat racing on Hilton Head Island. Our fleet now has a perpetual half-hull model trophy of a Harbor 20 that is displayed in the South Carolina Yacht Club for the winner of the Wednesday night racing series.

After the Wednesday night races, we gather at the bar in the South Carolina Yacht Club for socializing and dinner. The group also enjoys pleasure sailing with nonracers and sunset cocktails.
